Free Boxmaker Project -
Recycled Christmas Card Ball / Memory Ball

Using 20 cards you can create this beautiful Christmas ball or just use posterboard or cereal boxes to create a family memory ball.

The small ornament is about 3" diameter and the large Memory Ball is 10" diameter. To make the large ball just enlarge the pattern 200% or to whatever size ball you want to make.

Cut out 20 circles from cards or posterboard. Be sure and cut three notches as shown on pattern.

Lay circles on Box Maker with notches lining up on a scoring line. Score with tool. Repeat on all three sides.

Bend up along scored line. Now each circle has a triangle in the center.

Glue five of the folded and creased circles to form a dome like shape. Repeat with another set of five circles. These two domes will form the top and bottom.

Using one of the dome shapes glue five circles around the bottom. Now add another five circles to the last row. Now glue the bottom dome to the last row of circles.

Apply a thin layer of glue to the creased sides and sprinkle with fine glitter.

Glue pictures in triangles if making memory ball.

Glue a bow or hanging ribbon to the top.
